Booking and cancellation terms
Terms and Conditions of Sale
All bookings must be made by email to info@guidemonterosa.info or at our office in Piazza Tache in Gressoney LT:
First and last name, number of participants;
Phone number, residential address, fiscal code
Authorisation from a parent or legal guardian for minors
Payment options
Upon booking, we kindly ask for a 30% deposit of the total amount, with any transaction fees to be covered by you.
For bookings made within 2 days of the activity's start date, full payment is requested at the time of booking.
How you can pay your remaining balance
You can conveniently pay by bank transfer up to 5 days before your holiday begins; we will share the IBAN details with you via email
You are also very welcome to pay at our office using a debit or credit card, either in person or via a secure pay-by-link.
Changes to your booking
You can easily change your dates based on availability up to 20 days before your scheduled hike begins.
After this period, dates cannot be changed, but you are more than welcome to update the names of the participants at no extra cost.
Cancellation policy for our guests
In the event of cancellation, the following conditions will apply depending on the date of cancellation:
€100 for cancellation fees
We retain 30% of the amount for cancellations made more than 20 days prior to your scheduled arrival
Cancellation and Withdrawal by Us
In the event of a cancellation made in writing by the guides' office, we will apply the following conditions based on the date of cancellation:
we will fully refund your deposit
Changes to the planned itinerary
The Mountain Guide is responsible for running the programme and any modification to the duration, route and itinerary of the excursion will be at their sole discretion.
Should the Mountain Guide deem the weather conditions, safety or the fitness level of the group to be unsuitable, the Gressoney Mountain Guides Association will propose an alternative programme with a corresponding tariff adjustment, or different dates for the same activity. If it is not possible to find an alternative date or if an agreement cannot be reached for another suitable excursion, the Gressoney Mountain Guides Association will retain the deposit to be used within the following 12 months.
Heliskiing: bookings for Heliskiing are to be considered as u201cactivities with a mountain guide with the possibility of heliskiingu201d. In the event that flights cannot be operated due to adverse weather, the day will be replaced with guided off-piste skiing and the price adjusted accordingly.
Group excursions: if the minimum number of participants required is not met, the group excursion will be cancelled and the deposit refunded.
