Heading up the valley: after passing the village of Gressoney Saint Jean, turn right at the junction for the hamlet of Rong. Trail no. 9 starts from this road: follow it for about 20 minutes, then leave it just before the stream and head up to the crag, which is on the left, just a few minutes' walk away.
