The Monte Rosa Tour

The classic and timeless high-altitude ski mountaineering tour is a loop route in the heart of the massif; a dance among the 4000-meter peaks of Monte Rosa and its valleys.

The Monte Rosa tour in summary: Refuge Mantova, Colle del Lys, Refuge Margherita, Grenz Glacier, Zermatt, Klein Matterhorn, Refuge Teodulo, Breithorn, Vallone di Cime Bianche, Champoluc, Bettaforca, Gressoney-la-Trinitè.

Program

Day 1
Climb up to Refuge Mantova.

Day 2
Climb up to Colle del Lys and Capanna Margherita, descend along the Grenz glacier to Zermatt,ski lift ride up to Rifugio Teodulo, dinner and overnight stay in the refuge.

Day 3
Climb to the summit of Breithorn Occ. 4165m, descent to Champoluc along the Vallone di Cime Bianche. Return to Gressoney along off-piste routes with the support of the Monterosaski lifts.

The fee does NOT include:
the ski lifts, half board for the guide and for the clients in the refuge, drinks and extras at the refuge.
