Program

Day 1
Meeting in Alagna or Gressoney at 2 pm at our offices. Equipment checks and distribution of technical material. Ascent with ski lifts to Indren and then on skins to Capanna Gnifetti arriving at 4pm. Dinner and overnight.

Giorno 2
Ascent in a roped team to the Roccia della Scoperta in the early morning, assisted by the guide to reach the privileged position where you can see the athletes taking part in the most spectacular ski mountaineering race in the Alps pass by. We will choose the time together according to the conditions of the race route and the weather forecast. After the athletes have passed, we will return to the valley passing by pyramid Vincent.

Necessary equipment

skis and ski touring boots
backpack 25-30L
transceiver, shovel and probe
emergency kit
2 ppairs of gloves
layered skiwear (underwear+fleece+down+shell)
sunscreen
sunglasses
buff and/or cap
(knife if you are a splitboarder)
harness and crampons for glacier ascents

Price

1-2 participants € 1100,00 per group (max 3 people)
3 participants € 1200,00 per group (max 3 people)

The price includes:

a UIAGM Monte Rosa guide for the 2 days of the tour, half board at Capanna Gnifetti, half board for the guide, 1-day Monterosaski, technical equipment (harness, crampons), safety kit (shovel, avalanche transceiver and probe) on request, if available.
