Programme
DAY ONE:
We meet at 2:30 pm at the lift ticket office in Staffal to check our gear together. We then take the lifts up to Colle della Bettaforca (2727 m) and begin our hike towards the Quintino Sella refuge (3585 m), which we reach in about 3 hours. Dinner and overnight stay at the refuge.
DAY TWO:
At dawn, we set off for an exciting day: we climb the Naso del Lyskamm (4272 m), then up to Balmenhorn (4467 m) and finally the Vincent Pyramid (4215 m). We then descend to the Città di Mantova refuge (3500 m) for dinner and a cosy overnight stay.
DAY THREE:
We make another early start today, ascending to the Capanna Margherita (4554 m) and the Zumsteinspitze (4563 m). Depending on how the group is feeling, we can add more wonderful peaks: the Parrotspitze (4435 m), the Ludwigshöhe (4342 m) and the Vincent Pyramid (Schwarzhorn) (4321 m). We return to Staffal in the afternoon
