Overview
Join us to watch the athletes of the Mezzalama pass by.
Period: Late April
Programme
FIRST DAY:
We meet in Gressoney, in the locality of Staffal, at 14:00 by the lift ticket office.
Together, we will check our equipment and distribute any necessary technical gear.
Then, we take the lifts up to Punta Indren and begin our ascent on skins towards the Gnifetti Hut, arriving at around 16:00.
We will settle in, enjoy dinner, and spend the night at the refuge.
SECOND DAY:
We set off at dawn, roped together towards the Roccia della Scoperta, guided and supported all the way.
From this privileged vantage point, we will watch the athletes pass by in the most spectacular ski mountaineering race in the Alps: the Mezzalama Trophy.
The exact departure time will be decided together, depending on the weather and race conditions.
After cheering them on and taking some photos, we begin our descent back down to the valley, passing by the Vincent Pyramid.
